Fencing on Big Pine
Big Pine Key is one of the larger communities in the Lower Keys, and it has a character all its own. Key deer wander through yards, the refuge is never far away, and a lot of homes sit on canals or bigger lots than you’ll find in Key West. Island Fence has been building fences up and down the Lower Keys for more than 25 years, and Big Pine is part of our regular service area.
Most Big Pine fence projects come down to a few goals: keep the dog in, give the yard some privacy, mark the property line, or secure a business or storage area. We’ll come out, walk the property, and listen to what you need before we put together a personalized plan for height, style, gates, and layout.

Bigger yards often mean longer fence runs. Black vinyl coated chain link is a practical, budget-friendly way to cover distance, while PVC/vinyl works well where you want privacy closer to the house.
A secure fence and self-closing gates so your dog has room to roam the yard without wandering off.
From a backyard privacy fence to secure fencing for a shop, storage, or commercial lot along the highway, we handle residential, commercial, government, and industrial work.
What We Build
The same family-owned crew and the same materials we use across the Keys.
Built for the Keys
Salt air, sun, and storm season are just as tough on fences here as anywhere in the Keys. PVC/vinyl won’t rust or rot and stays clean with an occasional rinse. Black vinyl coated chain link and green vinyl coated chain link add a protective coating over the steel and blend into the landscape. Aluminum gives you an open, decorative look, and wood is there if you love a classic style. We’ll go over the trade-offs honestly so you can pick what fits.
